What roles did you take on for this assignment?
My roles throughout this assignment were to answer questions 2 and 4. I also had to create the handouts.
What did you like about working in a group?
I enjoyed working as a team very much. It was great to hear a variety of different ideas for the assignment. I also liked working in a group because i did not have to do the work all by myself. Each person had to do something, this made the assignment so much easier.
What was difficult about working in a group?
Choosing something that everyone agreed with. We all had different ideas about what we should do for the presentation, choosing just one was difficult because we had to choose something that we all wanted. Also if someone was away, the rest of the group could not do much discussions as we would not know where that person was up to in their part of the assignment.
What did you learn about working in a group?
I have learnt that team work is very important, because not only do others rely on you to do your bit but in order to complete the assignment you have to work together. I have learnt that everyone has to contribute to the assignment otherwise it is unfair to the rest of the group.
Did everyone contribute equally and enthusiastically?
Everyone in my group did contribute. We all divided the assignment up so that each person did what they wanted to do. I do think that we should ave divided it up equally though, i think that some people were do much more work than others.
How well did you work as an individual?
I think that i worked well as an individual because i got involved in the group discussion. I did do my part of the assignment, i have continuously posted comments on my blog and have done my research, as well as the assignments. I did not have any disagreements with my other group members and had considered all ideas.
Identify your strenghts and weaknesses.
As a group member i think that i should work on my time management skills. I do admit that i have left things close to the last minute.
I do think that i was the person who kept the group on track. whenever someone needed help i would help them.
Outline suggestions to improve your approach to group work.
next time i shall try harder to get my work done as fast as possible so we are not rushing everything at the end or a couple more days before the assignment is due.
i shall also try no to be as bossy, and will not take the lead.
